About the Artist

Nicole Power is a self-taught visual artist from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Attracted to both urban and coastal scenes, she enjoys wandering, camera in hand, and is always freshly inspired by the port city. Her work has been displayed in various galleries, including Teichert Gallery in Halifax and Amicus Gallery in Chester. She is also involved in many local art events, contributing regularly to Lunenburg’s Paint Sea on Site and Annapolis Royal’s Paint the Town, among others.When she is not painting, Nicole is an avid concert- and moviegoer and practices law at Weldon McInnis.
